Our dark chocolate covered marzipans are a decadent twist on a Middle Eastern classic. Each piece begins with silky marzipan handcrafted from East Mediterranean almonds, then dipped in a rich coat of premium dark chocolate. The result is a luxurious harmony of nutty sweetness and bittersweet depth. Made in Aleppo, Syria by a historic confectioner dating back to 1963, and air-shipped weekly to California, these indulgent bites are perfect for gifting, elegant dessert spreads, or an after-dinner treat paired with espresso or tea.

Chocolate covered marzipan

The other marzipan pieces I wanted to order were sold out so I ordered these to distribute to friends and keep some for myself. The chocolate was a little bitter but again, it’s dark chocolate and everybody’s taste and preferences vary.
