Barazek are among the most iconic and beloved cookies in Syrian pastry culture. Thin, crisp, and utterly irresistible. Handmade in Aleppo by the historic Mahrousseh bakery (est. 1898), these delicate cookies are generously coated with toasted sesame seeds on one side and studded with crushed pistachios on the other, creating the perfect balance of nuttiness, sweetness, and crunch.

Crafted with pure Syrian ghee, wheat flour, and just the right touch of sugar and salt, Barazek are baked to a golden crisp and packed with flavor in every bite. Whether served with a hot drink or enjoyed on their own, these cookies are a nostalgic treat that capture the essence of Syrian hospitality.

Imported fresh weekly from Aleppo to preserve their quality and signature crunch.

Barack Sesame Cookies

So disappointing they came broken in the box !!!!

The products were not fresh at all. They came with a one month “best by” date remaining. They did not have any quality to the flavor of them. When I contacted the company about my disappointment in the quality, all they offered was store credit or a repeat of the same order. If they had no problem shipping a large order to a first time customer with less than great quality items, why would they think i would want a repeat of the same quality? Total disappointment

The best cookies

I was very pleased to receive my box with a bunch of cookies. They were delicious the sesame cookies. I enjoyed it very much since I’m from Middle East. That was my favorite.
