If you’ve ever wondered what authentic Middle Eastern baklava is supposed to taste like, this is it. Handcrafted in Aleppo, where baklava-making is an art passed down through generations, this box showcases the purest expression of Syrian pastry craftsmanship. What sets it apart? The use of prized Aleppo pistachios. Smaller, greener, and more intensely flavorful than any other variety in the world.

Made by the legendary Mahrousseh bakery, established in 1898 and still operating in Aleppo today, each piece is made with fine layers of filo dough, pure Syrian ghee, and generous pistachio filling, then lightly soaked in an orange blossom–infused syrup that brings out the natural richness of the nuts.

We import this baklava weekly by air to ensure unmatched freshness and authenticity. It’s truly a pleasure for me to share this timeless Aleppine delicacy with you.

The pictures presented on your website are deceiving as the pieces are very small in reality. The taste is OK but clearly stale. I will not be ordering again.

The products were not fresh at all. They came with a one month “best by” date remaining. They did not have any quality to the flavor of them. When I contacted the company about my disappointment in the quality, all they offered was store credit or a repeat of the same order. If they had no problem shipping a large order to a first time customer with less than great quality items, why would they think i would want a repeat of the same quality? Total disappointment

Flavor profile good but product a little dry

Flavors were good. Light rose water in some, which was nice. Overall it seemed a bit dried out though. Box was marked as "sell by x-dat in 2026" so presumably was fresh? I did also purchase marzipan which was outstanding!
