True to Syrian tradition, AL BARA Aleppo soap flakes evoke the simple and precious gestures of yesteryear. In Aleppo, our grandparents used them to care for carpets and clean laundry. Before storing a carpet from one season to the next, they would slip a few handfuls of flakes inside: the fabric remained fresh and clean, and upon opening the door, the house was filled with an authentic scent of soap and cleanliness.

Easy to use, these flakes allow you to prepare a natural laundry detergent in a few simple steps:
Melt 130g of flakes in 1 liter of very hot water, add 3 tablespoons of baking soda, let it sit for an hour, then dilute with 2 liters of water. You will obtain a gentle, eco-friendly, and economical laundry detergent, inspired by traditional recipes.
